OH SNAP! I almost forgot.

I had to make and informational site of class and here it is. Tell me what you think. IF you want to I guess.

JKB Fletcher: Up close.

Here we go again kiddies! Yet another photorealist. I really enjoy the way Fletcher activates the picture plain. Extreme cropping and beautiful colors push the viewer into the scene. I really enjoy how personal the works are. You can check out the rest of his stuff here. Check it out and envy it.

Pedro Campos: Rey de Hyper.

By the best technical painter EVER! At least I think so. His skill is mind-blowing. His color choice in his compositions are untouchable. I can't imagine how many hours go into his work. I love them. I love everything about all of his paintings. Hopefully I can reach this level some day. Check him out here.

Cath Riley: Flesh Studies

Sorry it took so long for me to put anything up, but I think that this next artist will fill the void.
Here we have Cath Riley her drawing are awe-inspiring as well as elegant and soft.
I read about her a few years ago and forgot how impressive she is until I stumbled on her a couple days ago. Cath takes the beauty of skin and gives it a dramatic and appealing vision.
I really appreciate her sense of composition and the elegance of her values. Great artist and amazing skill.

Richard Estes: ... another photorealist.

I know you guys might be sick of this but I'm going to do it anyway. What we have here is the artwork of Richard Estes. His incredible attention to detail and his impressive knowledge of light logic is something to be envied. I was stumbling when I came across him and thought that this would be a very appropriate choice for my blog. These made me very happy. Enjoy.

Roberto Bernardi: Hyper-Realism

Roberto Bernardi hyper-realist and one of my favorite technical artists. Roberto takes everyday objects and makes them better. The insane attention to detail and the remarkably mondane subject matter makes his paintings explode with life. He chooses subject matter that is open to everyone. His works are impressive as well as fun to look at and should be appreciated by anyone who cares to look.

Alyssa Monks: Photo Realism

Photorealism is a difficult concept to recognize. Many of us appreciate the end result of photorealism but we hardly understand the time and patience that goes into every piece of work. Alyssa Monks show us that with patience new and exciting concepts emerge. With a wide variety of composition, while holding on to a similar theme Monks creates work that is fun to look at as well as inspiring and refreshing.

All right kids here we go! So I'm going to post a few sites on here that I look at regularly. Hopefully you guys can find something you like. I will pick an image or an artist once or twice a week and give my opinion about them. So join the conversation and contribute. Thanks.
